Hello, world
This is the first post. The site is a Next.js blog with a markdown content folder and reader comments, and it exists mostly because writing things down forces you to find out whether you actually understand them.
What lives here
Posts are plain markdown files in content/posts/. The filename becomes the
URL, so this file is hello-world.md and lives at /posts/hello-world.
Frontmatter controls the metadata:
---
title: "Hello, world"
date: 2026-11-04
excerpt: "Shown in the list and in link previews."
tags: [meta]
draft: false
---
Set draft: true and the post disappears from production builds while staying
visible in next dev.
Comments
Comments are open to anyone who signs in. You can delete your own; the site
owner can delete anyone's. If you are reading this and the comment box says
sign-in is not configured, that is the honest state of the deployment rather
than a bug — see README.md.
What to expect
Notes on software engineering, systems, and the things I break while learning. Mostly short, occasionally wrong, always correctable in the comments.
